LESSON 2:Carpal Tunnel Massage Tip
If you suffer from carpal tunnel symptoms, and you can't avoid using computers, I recommend using cushioned keyboards and mouse pads specifically designed for carpal tunnel alleviation.
A simple technique that can offer relief is a ball massage. Using a racquetball, tennis ball, or golf ball, simply massage the muscles of your palm by rolling the ball on your desk. Be careful not to press directly on the nerve in the center of your wrist. See my video on this page for a demonstration.
Place your forearm on your desk with your palm facing upward. Use your other forearm to massage the muscles in your arm.
The final step in a desktop carpal tunnel massage is wrist stretching. Simply grasp the fingers of your hand and gently stretch your wrist in both directions.
I have placed the video below, on this page so you can watch a demonstration of the techniques I am talking about.
You can use these easy techniques at almost
any time and in almost any place.
Try them! They really help.
