Distance Learning Works
with Your Busy Schedule
Imagine a classroom where, instead of raising your hand, you send the instructor an email. Imagine being able to learn while sitting in your own home or office. Imagine not having to worry about getting to class on time because the content is available to you whenever you need it. With our Structured Learning® online program you can conveniently take full advantage of the power of the Internet to foster communication, learning, and skill acquisition. Discussions, interactions, and assignments can all be reviewed online from wherever it is convenient for you.
Classroom Sessions
Most of your training can be done online. However, some classroom sessions are required. Classroom sessions are held one day per week, in person, to learn critical skills that enhance your online training.
Health Information Management
and Health Information Technology Training
Students at the Heritage HHSM school learn diverse skills in health information management and health information technology. The healthcare system relies more and more on the efficiencies made possible with information systems. These systems help doctors and hospitals to provide more effective healthcare to their patients and also help to restrain the growth in healthcare costs. Health Information Management (HIM) systems also help to protect patients' privacy.
